Margaret's Story
Life
You may have known me as Peggy Haskill. I was a quite person in high school. In high school I majored in science, math and art. Clubs I was involved with: Office Switchboard, Science, and Stagecraft.
I went into the Marine Corp November of 1970, came out in November of 1974 with a lot more confidence, I think that all high school student should serve their country. It builds character and self-esteem. During this time I married twice, so you may have known me as Childers or Redman.
I went to college at Pitt Tech [now known as Pitt Community College], where I earned Assoc. in Commercial Art & Graphic Design in 1977. I also had been training for my LPN, but dropped out in 1978 to return to Michigan for a family emergency. My heart was not into going back to school for nursing in Michigan, so I worked in the automotive field as a technical manual photo typographer in Warren, MI.
My 3rd husband, David O’Rear and the love of my life, encouraged me to go back to school for Computer Aided Design, was in the 1st graduating class in 1986 from OCC. I was a Design Engineer with one ...Expand for more
of the leading tier one suppliers doing interior environmental design. I worked on the Mercedes seats programs. I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Love the winters here.
I retired in January 2015 and I'm loving the time to travel and visit my Great Grand-kids [11 Grands + spouses, 25 G-Grands & 5 GG-Grands].
I'm looking at pursuing more involvement into a home base business. I have been a Shaklee user for the last 30 years and I am dedicated the Shaklee Heath and Wellness principles. Shaklee is exciting in what it is doing in the business side for their distributors. Now I'm looking into expanding that into a business end of Shaklee. I don’t go to Michigan during the winter months, the weather with it’s 10+ inches of snow, something I do not have to deal within Alabama, at least not for very long. if it snows here, it’s only an inch or less and it’s gone within an hour after the sun comes out.
I now come up to Michigan during the summer months and usually booked for the whole time with seeing my Grand kids, very busy time.
